He is the sky, she is the sea,
You're still you, I'm just me.
But it is simply that fact, which sets us apart,
that gives us no chance, to bond from the heart.
Her waves beckon from left to right,
He watches in vain, turning to night.
For the sky and sea does not reach,
distance and difference--they both have each.
But there is a secret place in which they can meet--
If Sun allows it well, it's at Dawn's setting feet.
It is the horizon--color of light sapphire,
tinted by celebrating Sun's brightly lid fire.
Even the sky and the sea shares horizon forever.
Is it possible for us to watch the sunset together?
