Convolute Waters

Sunshine descended from the blue sky and anchored on the ocean surface. The glimmering jewels of the sea need not be sought from the ocean ground. The aspiring simplicity of unconditional happiness is there, broken apart into infinite pieces by the ripples and tides of the brines. But, there is enough light for everyone in the world because of such contravention. It is there, sparkling within a close distance--there for you to feel, but not to hold; there for you to own, but not to catch. It is up for us to follow that pathway of sparkle to the very end of the horizon, to the moment where eternity and finale equate.

But night will come. The horizon will be dyed by bright yellow, orange, red, with a purple hue. Soon, black will invade the blue. Yet, the glimmering jewels are still dancing for us, ever so brightly as the fire begun to dwindle. Even after the sunshine has retreated behind the fine line, moonlight will continue its ballet on the water.

Someday, sometime, I will succeed in my search for you in these two worlds.

Tomorrow never knows.

But it does know...

You exist.
